About the Sr. Product Marketing Manager position:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager partners with product management and corporate marketing teams to develop messaging and positioning for the company's solutions. Conceiving and supporting strategic and innovative marketing programs, the Senior Product Marketing Manager enables Sales and Services teams with world-class tools and messaging to articulate the value of the company's offerings. A proven track record of results-oriented and data-driven product marketing performance gained at another cloud software company serving the healthcare provider industry is required.An ideal candidate will bring thought leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to convey new points of view to the business and industry and collaborate with product management to set the direction for marketing the company's offerings. They should also be proficient in leveraging social and community expertise to harness client enthusiasm via evangelist programs, as well as the ability to leverage customer communities to drive communication, awareness, and brand loyalty. Experience with social platforms and “influence the influencer” strategies is a big plus.This position is remote (Laudio has been a remote-first company since its inception and therefore is flexible in geographic location); however, Laudio operates on EST standard hours, and a successful candidate must match these on most days.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Messaging and Positioning: Develop messaging and positioning for influencer and buyer personas as applicable to differentiate the company as THE Leader Operations Solution
Demand Generation: Partner with the corporate marketing team to devise campaign strategy and themes, create compelling content, and guide marketing programs to drive demand for the company's offerings
Sales Enablement: Equip and train the sales team on the company's value proposition, sales tools, and competitive and market intelligence to overcome critical objections and support every stage of the selling process
Client Retention and Growth: Partner with the services team to develop high-quality messaging, content, and campaigns to support and drive client retention efforts, including strategic and technical roadmap engagements and client success stories
Thought Leadership: Demonstrate clear and compelling points of view, including unique approaches to solving problems with strategic insights and actionable advice for Laudio’s clients
Innovation: Partner with the product management team to conduct internal and external research to provide insights and suggestions to drive new and innovative features. Build plans and content to support the adoption of new product and feature releases
Develop Go-To-Market strategy documents to support new product releases
Analytics: Understand and use market data to drive decisions across the organization as it relates to buyers, clients, and users of our software
Provide support for the RVP Sales team in terms of assisting sales leadership in driving and delivering the SQL necessary for ongoing business success through ABM and other programs
Show the ability to have a hands-on player mindset to ensure the success of the marketing team at this high-growth company. The Product Marketer must have the skills and ability to jump in and take on projects within the marketing organization as needed to support revenue growth. In the first 3-6 months, this could include: content development, product documentation, events management, social posting
Relevant experience to be successful:
5-7 years of enterprise B2B software experience in core product marketing roles or a combination of experience in product marketing, product management, and sales roles, particularly solution consulting
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling MRDs (Marketing Requirements Documents)
Ability to conduct addressable market research and white spacing activities (TAM, SAM, SOM)
Experience in collaborating and managing the marketing tasks within the PDLC (product development Life cycle) program
Proficient in influencing product direction and roadmap by partnering with product management and UX teams
Entrepreneurial-minded self-starter with lean/agile or start-up background preferred
Experience developing Go-To-Market strategies and detailed GTM plans with deep experience in creating and managing pricing calculators (other GTM expertise required for solution and services definition, packaging, and positioning) for health care, SaaS solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to represent product marketing plans and strategic priorities to senior executives, sales, customers, top prospects, analysts, and press. Ability to write exceptionally well, ability to conceptualize and even create compelling visuals, experience speaking in front of various audience sizes in extemporaneous and planned settings
Excellent relationship-building skills – The ability to work across the entire organization with senior leaders to build consensus on product marketing priorities is a must. Must be able to develop and sustain relationships with key influencers, customers, top prospects, and analysts
Demonstrated success managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and remaining flexible to changing requirements
